PRESS RELEASE: State Rep. Benson Endorses Rufus Gifford for Congress

LOWELL—Rufus Gifford, candidate for Congress in Massachusetts’ 3rd congressional district, today welcomed the endorsement of State Representative Jennifer Benson (D-37th Middlesex).

“I am so thrilled to have Jen’s support in this race,” said Gifford. “From the School Committee to the State House, Jen has been a leader and a champion for so many things I find important, especially on promoting the economic opportunities associated with addressing climate change. I am very grateful for her endorsement.”

“Rufus is the best candidate for the 3rd district,” said Benson. “He is an energetic and optimistic candidate who has been taking the time to listen to voters all across the district. The 37th Middlesex district, which Rep. Benson represents, includes parts of Acton, Ayer, Boxborough, Shirley, Harvard, and Lunenburg.
