PRESS RELEASE: Gifford Announces New Concord Office

LOWELL—Rufus Gifford, candidate for Congress in Massachusetts’ 3rd congressional district, today announced his campaign is opening an office in Concord, Mass.

The campaign is headquartered in Lowell and recently opened an office in Fitchburg. In the race to succeed Rep. Niki Tsongas, Gifford is the first candidate to open a third office, and the first to have a presence in the southern part of the district.

“I am so excited to have a field office right down the street from my home in Concord,” said Gifford. “Concord is known for its political activism, and this office will be a hub to harness that civic spirit and all the support we are earning in the area. There will be constant phone banks and canvass kick-offs, and I know the place will always be filled with friends, family, volunteers, and fellows.”

 Gifford continued: “As we have said from the beginning, this campaign is about building genuine human connections and having old-fashioned neighbor-to-neighbor conversations. This new office will help us take that people-first approach to the next level.”

The campaign will host an office opening celebration on Saturday, May 19 at 9:30 a.m. The office is located at 199 Sudbury Street, Concord, Mass.
